This year has just come & gone in the blink of an eye.
2014 has been a year of many ups and downs, achievements and breakdowns, adventures and misadventures, new friendships formed and old friends lost, and many many mistakes made
– but most importantly lessons learned.
This past year has been the most life changing for me thus far. I started off the year feeling down and out, and just emotionally exhausted. Those of you that know me personally, would know why. But I realized that this was the chance for me to really work on rebuilding myself ( and for myself, not for anybody else ) on my confidence and insecurities, and spend time with not only the people that I love and love me, but the people who deserve to be part of my life. And that’s something that not instantaneous, it happens over a period of time, & is something I’ll be continuing to strive towards.
L I F E is way too short. We need to be grateful for what we have, instead of focusing on what we don’t have. We need to spend time doing things we love, with people we love.
Somethings I really want to focus on for this upcoming year includes ;
- Overall being a healthier person – and no, I’m not talking about becoming a gym rat. This ones for you mom! ❤
- Being more creative – this includes more blogging! & being part of the whole doing things you love sorta deal
- Having no regrets, or at least ..less of them – Learning to take things day by day, and to go with the flow.
