If you are in the Toronto area, you HAVE to go to Niagara Falls.
No excuses. We only drove out for the day, and it was most definitely worth the drive just to see the view yourself instead of from a picture or postcard.
Ready with my poncho!
When I first saw the Falls (after getting lost for a bit, thanks Google Maps)
I had to stop as it actually took my breath away with how beautiful it truly was.
You could easily spend the whole day watching the falls,
there’s just something about it that just leaves you feeling so calm&serene.
Though it was particularly busy the day that Jo & I decided to go to the Falls, it was a Saturday afterall and the weather was absolutely gorgeous out, being there was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We opted to do the Voyage To The Falls Tour – with Hornblower Niagara Cruises
Tickets were $19.95 & so worth it!
(Next time I come to Niagara I would do the night time tour)
There’s also a ton of little stores and restaurants along the bank of the falls, which kind of reminded me of a mini Vegas strip almost. We didn’t get a chance to stay and really explore, as it was getting quite late and we had to drive back. But if you get the chance then for sure spend some time here around the shops, who knows what little knick knacks you might find!
With Love,
Murs xx
