Quebec City, QC

Bonjour Quebec!
With continuing my quest of exploring more of Canada out East, I’ve found myself in the beautiful province of Quebec.
My first order of business was obviously to go and grab myself a
P O U T I N E!
If you know me, you know that fries are my weakness (actually just potatoes in general. I’ll have them any way, shape or form at any given time, I don’t discriminate lol)

It was love at first bite … #nomnomnom

I decided to stay in an AirBNB for the 3 days that I was in YQB.
I stayed with the lovely Gi – check out her posting here:
The place was small & cozy, had exactly what you needed, and was walking distance to downtown Quebec City. It was perfect for my stay there, would definitely stay there again & I highly recommend it for any solo travellers!
I visited the Musee National Des Beaux-Arts Du Quebec and I was pleasantly surprised. I try to check out at least one museam in every city I visit, to learn more about the history and what helped cultivate that city into what it is today. This was an art msueam and I found that their exhibitions to actually be really fascinating. Here are some pictures of my favourite ones:

Though I would have to say that my favourite part of my stay here was Old Quebec and Plains of Abraham

rue Saint-Jean District
Plains of Abraham; Battlefield Park

I love just walking down the narrow cobble stone streets, walking past all of the boutiqes and restaurants. It reminds me of so many fond memories I have in Europe (fav place to be, ever)

View from my VIA Rail Train

I decided to take the train from Quebec City to Montreal instead of flying so that I got the chance to see more of this beautiful province. It was a quick ride, only a few hours! And the train even included wifi! Which gave me a chance to catch up on reading and to figure out my itinerary for my days in Montreal.

See you soon Montreal!

With Love,

Murs xx
