And that ladies & gentlemen, concludes my first solo adventure! 

I can truly say that it was an amazing and life changing experience, though it was difficult on more than one occasion and was a challenge. But hey, that’s what these experiences are for – to challenge you. Whether that be physically, mentally, spiritually or otherwise.

You can’t expect to learn and grow as a person without being challenged and put out of your comfort zone. I was out of my comfort zone for almost the whole duration of my trip, but that’s exactly what I needed. More often than not, we get caught up in our day to day lives. In a constant rotation of daily duties ( work, school etc ) and we get so consumed with everything that’s going on, that we forget about the simple pleasures of life.

I’m so happy I was able to meet everyone I did on this trip, and I know that it won’t be last time we see each other. Making friends and memories to share is part of what life is all about! It’s amazing to think that I now have friends that live in different parts of the world.

I wanted to thank every person I met on this journey, as I’ve learned something from each and every one of you. I’ll remember the memories we made for many years to come, as well as my family & friends back home for reminding me how blessed I am to be living the life I live … ❤
